Berliner Schnitzel

You may have heard of the Wiener Schnitzel, ie schnitzel done in the Viennese manner. Well, we had the great fortune of having some home-made Berliner Scnitzel here in Stockholm recently. Jenny, one of the people staying in the house here at Mittag-Leffler hails from Berlin and made us a wonderful schnitzel dinner. Here she is expertly cooking the schnitzel.

The difference between Wiener and Berliner Schnitzel? Flour. A true Berliner Schnitzel has only bread crumbs, while the Austrians put in some flour. Here's a close-up view.
