Haarlem

During my trip to the Low Countries, I spent an afternoon in the city of Haarlem, which is located just west of Amsterdam. They have a beautiful train station, with great woodwork and ceramic tiled signage:
In general, Haarlem is pretty cute -I really enjoyed this quiet lane.
One highlight was the Fran Hals Museum - an art museum in what was a men's housing project.

Here is the courtyard of the museum.
While I was there, the Haarlem Half Marathon was being run - here is the finish zone, hours before the race begins.
The old Market Hall has pictures of cows, which is fun.
