We took advantage of the nice weather last Saturday to get in one last day of skiing at Crystal Mountain. The clear day meant that we could see all sorts of peaks and ranges. Here is Iva at the top of Green Valley, looking towards the southeast.

The morning we spent on Chair 9, where Iva worked on perfecting her parallel turns. She's getting quite good! No visits to the Ski Patrol hut for her! Behind her is The King, Crystal's tallest peak (7012 feet?).

In the afternoon we headed up top, where views of Mount Rainier and the White River awaited us.

My parents were able to join us for a couple hours - it was fun to get the whole gang together on the mountain!

Rainier was not the only peak we could see. We also had views of Baker, Glacier, the Stuarts, and Mount Adams, pictured here. Wow!

Paul!
How are you? I gather you're nearby; we should hang out. My e-mail is matthinckley@gmail.com. I appear to only have your Oregon e-mail.
