Easter in Hood River

We enjoyed a wonderful visit to Hood River for Easter. Saturday the weather was nice enough to allow a nice bike ride up to Parkdale. It was nice to ride on back roads through the orchards and catch views of Mount Hood peaking out of the clouds. Here's the gang with their bikes.


Sunday after church we had a BBQ at E's workplace. It was raining a bit, so it worked well to have the grill outside and everything else in the kitchen inside.


My folks had to hit the road for the long drive home, but Iva and I had time to treat E to coffee at the local hip cafe. This is what happens when two people who like planning trips to the Oregon desert get together and consume caffeine (and listen to Pearl Jam).
