Walking on Exit Glacier

Moving to the Eastern side of the Harding icefield, we took a half-day walk on the Exit Glacier. This glacier, located near the cute little town ot Seward, is the only part of Kenai Fjords National Park accessible by road. We saw three black bears on the hike - equal to the number of bears we saw elsewhere in our three week trip! One highlight of this hike was getting a close-up look at a waterfall on the surface of the glacier.
