Moving and the New House

After a whirlwind month, we are "finally" moved in to the new house. Which means that our stuff is in the new house, of course.

Here is one last view of the old apartment, which served Iva well for the better part of 5 years!
And here is Iva surveying the living area of the new abode! Placement of the rocking chair next to the bookshelf is key, of course.
One of the best parts of the house is the huge kitchen. There is plenty of room for me to do dishes while Iva cooks. Here Iva "stirs it up" and "serves it up".
We also acquired a large tangle of blackberry bushes. Below I "trim" the bushes off the fence. (The fence, by the way, will soon go.)
