Bertoud Pass, CO

I took advantage of the holiday weekend and took a quick trip to Colorado where a grad-school friend has a postdoc position. We spent three days in the mountains near Winter Park, just west of Denver. Below are two pictures taken just above Bertoud Pass, a very pretty (and very high) part of the country.

We opted not to climb to the summit of this peak, but it sure was tempting...
